IBOMBO Wins the 2026 Polish-German Business Award!
IBOMBO has been awarded the 2026 Polish-German Business Award – a prestigious distinction presented to companies that make a significant contribution to the development of economic cooperation between Poland and Germany. This award is an important recognition of Polish innovation, international business activity and the consistent growth of the IBOMBO brand.
In this year’s competition, IBOMBO was selected from among 39 submissions for this distinction. The award went to the Polish company based in Leszno, whose solutions support the development of cycling infrastructure in cities around the world.
From a Polish Idea to International Success
The history of IBOMBO began with the first installations of self-service bicycle repair stations in Warsaw. Today, our solutions are present in more than 45 countries, with over 25,000 IBOMBO devices in operation worldwide, including approximately 7,000 in Germany. Exports account for nearly 90% of our sales.
IBOMBO solutions are used by local communities as well as major institutions and international organisations. Our devices are installed, among other locations, at the German Bundestag, the Federal Chancellery in Berlin, the European Parliament and the Polish Sejm, as well as within Deutsche Bahn infrastructure and at IKEA facilities.
Our long-standing cooperation with SKS GERMANY, based in Sundern and a renowned manufacturer of bicycle components with a tradition spanning more than 100 years, plays an important role in strengthening our presence on the German market. This partnership is an example of the successful combination of Polish design and manufacturing expertise with the experience of German industry and local distribution partners.
